Realmente no soy una persona de manualidades, pero me gusta hacer cosas para mis pequeños, aún cuando la mayoría de las veces tardo años en terminar las cosas, (probablemente eso tenga que ver con que quisiera hacer tantas cosas que a veces empiezo demasiados proyectos a la vez, lo cual estoy tratando de resolver, y terminar una cosa a la vez) esta Guirnalda de Pompones la empecé antes de mudarnos y finalmente la terminé hace un mes. Pensé hacer pompones porque quería algo orgánico, y con volumen para el cuarto de Luella y después de ver los de Madelon en Instagram, terminé por decidirme!
I'm not really a crafty person, but I like making stuff for my children, even though most of the time takes me forever to complete things (that probably has to do with the fact that I would like do so many things that sometimes I start too many projects at a time, but I'm working on it and trying to finish one thing at a time) I started this Pom Pom Garland before we moved and I just finished a month ago. I thought of pompoms because I wanted something organic and with volume for Luella's bedroom and after seeing Madelon's on Instagram, I finally made up my mind!
Evidentemente mi tiempo libre es poco, así que decidí hacer los pompones con calma y a ratitos, los hice a la antigüita jaja! después de ver este tutorial, y muy tarde me enteré que existen estos Pom Pom Makers, que hacen todo mucho más fácil y perfecto (como muestra este otro tutorial), los míos no son tan perfectos, pero quedaron bastante bien! Y lo mejor es que aún cuando le falta mucho al cuarto de Luella, empieza a tomar forma :D
Obviously my free time is little, so I decided to take it easy, I made them the old fashioned way haha! after watching this tutorial, and I found out too late that there are these Pom Pom Makers, which do everything much easier and perfect (as shown in this other tutorial), mine are not quite perfect, but they look pretty good! And the best part is that even though there is still so much to do at Luella's bedroom, it begins to take shape :D
