1 Around the world with Mouk, Marc Boutavant.
El libro favorito de mi pequeña en estos días (un favorito mío desde hace mucho tiempo) lo descubrió hace un par de semanas guardado en mi escritorio junto con otros libros que he comprado para mí (pensando que eventualmente serán de ellos, claro esta!) y que he guardado celosamente para evitar que pequeñas manos los desgarren sin querer; pero ahora esta lista para libros de niños grandes, ya tiene tres años y tiene mucho cuidado al pasar las hojas :) puede pasar un buen rato descubriendo cosas nuevas, deleitándose con sus escenas y animales favoritos (tortugas, elefantes, tiburón) o pidiéndome que le repita el nombre de cada postre que aparece en la vitrina (en la ciudad de Nueva York).
Es un libro increíble, lleno de color, escenas increíblemente detalladas y personajes geniales, las ilustraciones de Marc Boutavant simplemente me encantan. Es un libro grande, con acabados perfectos y que incluye stickers reutilizables.
Millimages ha producido una serie de televisión, que espero podamos ver pronto, aunque por ahora nos conformamos con ver pequeños avances, como este.
2 Animôme, Raphael Fejtö.
Este es un favorito de mis dos chiquitos, fue un regalo de su abuela y les encanta! Montones de ilustraciones de animalitos acompañadas de un verso en francés que hace referencia al personaje en cuestión. Las ilustraciones son grandes, coloridas, con trazos sencillos y muy divertidas lo que llama la atención de los más pequeños.

1 Around the world with Mouk, Marc Boutavant.
The favorite book of my little girl these days (a favorite of mine for a long time) she discovered it a couple of weeks ago in one of my desk drawers saved along with other books I've bought for me (thinking that eventually will be for them, of course!) and I have jealously keep them away from small hands to prevent accidentally tearing, but my little L is ready for bigger children's books, she is three years old now and is really careful to turn the pages :) she can have fun discovering new things, enjoying her favorite scenes and animals (turtles, elephants, sharks) or asking me to repeat the name of each dessert at the window (in the New York City page).
It is an incredible book, colorful, incredibly detailed scenes and cool characters, I just love Marc Boutavant's illustrations! It's a big book, with perfect finishing and includes reusable stickers, which is also great.
Millimages has produced a TV series, which I hope we can be able to see soon, but for now we are happy looking at small clips, like this one.

This is a favorite of my two children, was a gift from her grandmother and they just love it! Lots of illustrations of animals accompanied by a verse in French referred to each character. The illustrations are large, colorful, with simple lines and very amusing, which will catch the little ones' attention for sure!
