INSPIRED BY 02: MARYANNE MOODIE

Weaving has been in my "Things I want to do" list for a while, I even have a little spot in the living room waiting for a wall hanging, so when I saw Maryanne Moodie's work I was amazed, and wanting to do it right away.
Her work is simply exquisite, precise technique, geometric patterns, chromatic palettes ranging from pastels to colorful and outstanding contrasts. Each piece is unique, finding perfect symmetrical pieces as well as asymmetrical pieces beautifully designed, and glorious textures that will make you appreciate the piece using more than one sense.
I feel inspired by Maryanne Moodie in more than one way, she started weaving as a creative outlet after her son's birth, finding in it an exceptional medium to develop her amazing art pieces and standing out in a really short time.
